What did you learn from Rick B. on lamp restoration. I have also used another source, for brass lamp repair, that is very satisfactory also. Curious if things are moving in the direction you desire.

Good luck with your lamp repair. Rick is a good guy and will do his best to give you a good product. He is old school, if it is worth doing it is worth doing right. How about posting a "Before" and then an "After" picture of your lamp to be restored?

Picture 2 shows the right front of body. I think I can use the floorboard riser structure as a solid location to mount the cowling bracket.
