"Toy Tonneau" ?
What is a "toy tonneau"? I often see this term, but not sure what it means.

Toy Tonneau.. Toy is small. Tonneau is the back of a vehicle. So what you have is a small back area of the vehicle. As in it only seats two and no more. Baby Tonneau also means the same. Seating only for two in the back.

Demi Tonneau. That's another one.... Demi is french for "lesser". Yes, you already have it. Touring with a smaller back seating area holding only 2 people. A larger back seating area would hold 3 people or more. Our 1911 Stanley steamer with its jump seats, holds up to 5 people in the back.

Other derivatives that are the same in actual nomenclature are "Baby" and "Pony" tonneau. Am i right in my thinking? what are the thoughts of others?

Baby Tonneau, Pony Tonneau, Toy Tonneau, and Demi Tonneau all mean the same; "smaller back end". Al, you are right in your thinking.
Re: "Toy Tonneau" ?

In 1911 Columbia called this model a 4-passenger vestibuled (meaning it had front doors) roadster. In 1913, Overland called their 4-passenger model a foursome (Model 69F).
Re: "Toy Tonneau" ?
I didn't know that so many companies called their similar body types different things. Columbia, being vestibule and Overland being foursome. The Columbia terminology now does make sense as Pierce-Arrow had what they called a Vestibule sedan or Limo which was a fully enclosed body type. I think I will do a definition of Vestibule and see exactly what the word means.
