Model T Centennial Event at Towe Auto Museum To celebrate the car that put the world on wheels |

The Towe Auto Museum is proud to host “Mr. Ford’s Legendary Model T: Car of the Century,” commemorating Tin Lizzie’s 100th anniversary. The opening weekend will celebrate the historical, technological and legendary importance of the Model T Ford. |
Friday evening, enjoy a VIP reception celebrating the first 100 years of the Model T and official opening of the Museum’s Centennial Exhibit (exhibit to continue through December 2008). The evening will consist of a social hour with complimentary wine provided by Ironstone Vineyards and hors d’ oeuvres, music by Dave Moreno on the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, and a short presentation and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Saturday night experience an era fashion show and special period entertainment along with a catered banquet and special presentation by Robert Kreipke, Corporate Historian, Ford Motor Company. Close the special weekend with Model T games (gymkhana) performed by the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the Model T Ford Club of America and a River Delta Tour of historic, Victorian homes and wineries, and the last state-operated ferries in California.
