Horseless Carriage Club of America
Ladies of the Diamond Jubilee Convention
The ladies of the Diamond Jubilee Convention put on a Fashion Show. This was a fun, no frills event to showcase some of the ladies beautiful fashions. The ladies promenaded across the stage to show off their outfits. They then went amongst the audience to give everyone a closer look.
The clothes that were displayed were from the Victorian and Edwardian eras. This was a time around the 1900's through approximately 1910 of great opulence. The eras were named for Queen Victoria and then King Edward of England. These clothes are representative of the same times that our horseless carriages were produced and are worn on some of our horseless carriage tours.
