Congratulations! I know how special it is to be able to drive your classic after all the hard work you put into it. I hope in another month I'll be driving my 1951 Studebaker, a car I've owned for five years. Again congratulations Bob!

That broken plate you mentioned, couldn't you weld it together. Now if you couldn't weld it then some good machine might be able to make you a new one.

I love Maxwell's too. I don't if its the styling or their history but they're fascinating vehicles. The Maxwell I saw at a car show was about 1991 when I drove my Edsel. The owner was trying to start and I was impressed because it still had a chain drive. I think it was a 1903 or 04. Good luck in yo...

You mentioned gas not steam. I know of a club in Great Britain that caters to steam automobiles. The steam car club of Great Britain. On their forums they discuss White autos quite a bit, now they're steam but Owners of a paticular make usually possess knowledge beyond their year and may know about ...
