Valve lash silencer/cam follower silencer for T head motor

Our 1912 Alco has a spring loaded device between the camshaft lobes and each valve stem which appears to act as a silencer for the valve clearance. I am wondering which other makes in the Brass Era may have used this device, and who came up with it first. was it Mercedes or Berliet?or? When adjustin...

Disassembling Model 77 Loizer brakes

Doe someone have suggestions for separating the hub from the brake drum on the Model 77. I've got the bolts & nuts apart, but the hub is really in there. Does it have to be pressed out?

Repairing scored drums on 1914 Lozier

I have a set of scored drums for a 1914 Lozier touring car. The drums have been turned at least 1/16" oversize & cannot be turned to further clean up.
