I have no experience with wood spoke wheels but thought I read somewhere possibly in this forum or MTCA,when wood spoke wheels dry out and become loose and you can restore them by soaking in water

Without any photos not sure whats needed to repair but I have 1923 Lincoln that am restoring and it had "fat man steering wheel" with very little wood remaining I have made all my own pieces using Ash, few basic tools (band-saw, router, etc.) and laminated with basic wood glue (Elmer's) Wheel isn't ...
