1925 Pierce Arrow

How does one check the oil on a V12 1925?

Did you mean 1935? I wasn't aware they made a V12 in the 20's. But there is most likely a sight glass with a level indicator somewhere low on the crankcase I would think.

I am sorry, its a 29 6 cylinder with dual ignition.

Sorry, but I think you might need to do a little more research. 1928 was the last year of the 6 cyl in the Pierce Arrow, they went to a straight 8 in 29. Good luck.

My apologizes I got the car in possession before I got any info or paper work. It is indeed a 28 series 36. 6 cylinder dual ignition.

There are two valve handles sticking up on the lower right side of the engine. The rear one drains the oil, the front one allows oil to run out if there is adequate oil in the crankcase. If nothing comes out add oil until it does.
