I am beginning the very first steps of research for the restoration of my 1910 IHC J-30. My understanding is that the engine was manufactured by "British-American Motors".
I have found a handful of references to the engine, including one used in a famous early aircraft. But, all in all, I know nothing about it.
I assume that it must have been used in some other early automobiles. It has a lot in common with an old "American LaFrance" engine i saw years ago in a Firetruck.
Does anyone have any information, or know where the company was Chartered, etc?
Any help would be appreciated.
