What is the proper carburetor for the 1916 MAXWELL? Is that carburetor the same for the 1915 & 1917?

I don't know how to post links (all I am is the website committee chairman!), but try this:

maxwellbriscoeowners-subscribe@yahoogroups.com (sending an email to this address will sign you up for the Maxwell Owners' Club Mailing List)

Maxwell used a KD carburetor from 1916 thru 1918. Its a all stamped brass body carb not much bigger than a model T carb. I've never run one and can't tell you how they perform.

Thank you for your post. Do you know of a photo, or book I can look the Model DK in.
