Maxwell help

Post by Mr. T » Mon Dec 02, 2013 4:52 am

Friday I was at a antique center that I'm a regular at . I overheard a man asking the woman behind the counter if she knew of anyone who knew about old cars . I immediaty jumped into the conversation and asked him what kind of cxar he had . He had told me that his mother had passed away and left him a 1917 maxwell touring car. After telling him I was in the model t club . He wanted to know if there was anyone who knew about maxwells who is somewhat local . The man told me that he lived in Albany ny ( I live about 45 min. South of albany ). Does anyone know anyone who does maxwell stuff around here. He wants to get it running . He said it has not been running in 20 years but still has compression . I was thinking about going up there and seeing if I could get it going but I figured that if there was a maxwell collector nearby I would leave it to the expert .
Thanks
M sharkey

There's quite an active Maxwell-Briscoe yahoo group. You might try to post there.
