cadillac auction at Hershey

Post by mojoe59 » Wed Aug 06, 2014 6:36 pm

Here is an idea regarding the auction. Have the auction during the evening so more people can attend. More importantly, no matter when the auction is held, do not release the items until say Friday afternoon. The reason for this is that the big parts dealers can't buy up the inventory and haul it to the swap meet for sale. This may give the private guy a chance at the items he may need to finish his/her own restoration at a reasonable cost. The little guy needs a shot at these parts for restoring his/her vehicle at an affordable cost. Any help would be appreciated by all those looking for parts. Give it a thought.

Will the parts be sold with a live auction or "silent" auction? The latter allows everyone to bid at any time.

The plan is to have a live auction Thursday evening, October 9. It will be held just a few miles from the flea market fields.
We should have everything finalized next week and will publish the details then.

The parts shown in the photos are not necessarily shown in the lots as they will be sold. Most parts will be sold individually.

Hopefully this will give everyone a chance to attend and bid.
