Artillery Wheels - tightening up the spokes?
I have artillery wheels on my '29 Chevrolet AC International Sedan. I have noticed that some of the spokes are loose. How do you go about tightening them up? I also have wooden wheels on my '15 Metz but they fit tight. Any and all helpful suggestions are appreciated. I thank you in advance.

I have no experience with wood spoke wheels but thought I read somewhere possibly in this forum or MTCA,when wood spoke wheels dry out and become loose and you can restore them by soaking in water

The water thing, if it has any effectiveness at all will only be temporary. I have used a product called "Git Rot", which is an epoxy that can be applied through a syringe into the cracks and joints of the wheels. It takes a lot of patience to not make a mess, and a little goes a long way. I'm down to mixing 1/4 of the marked lines on the bottle that comes with it. Seems to work great for me so far.
