Muffler Fabrication

Postby MochetVelo » Wed Apr 08, 2015 2:40 pm

A tip I got the other day from a restoration shop: A muffler shell can be fabricated from a truck exhaust stack. These are available in aluminized steel and other metals in various diameters from 2.5" to 8". You cut a piece to fit between the cast iron ends, which are often restorable. Here is a link to one supplier: http://www.truckpipestore.com/
