Help in identifying frame

Post by desertexplorer » Wed Jun 17, 2020 5:33 pm

Wondering if anyone would be able to id this running gear? I’m not sure of age but looks to be fairly early. It has some unusual characteristics too. The front horns seem to be cast iron not the typical channel and the back of the rear shackles are attached to a unique curved iron support. Also the frame has wood mounted around the whole exterior.

Thanks everyone!

Chassis was identified as a 1906 Autocar touring car chassis. I new it was early but never guessed that early! It was id’d by someone on the AACA site. Just wanted to post the update here. :D
