Today there are only a handful of these cars surviving. 1914 Model 30 became available to the general public in July 1913. It was replaced by the Type 51 V8 in September 1914. There were 14,003 produced of the 1914 year model. The engine was essentially the same as the 1913 model with 366 cu.in. developing 40-50 brake horsepower, expect one distributor and one set of sparkplugs were used. A gas tank cam driven air pressure pump was added as the gas tank was now relocated to the rear chassis and the tire pump now standard equipment. A big difference was the addition of the electric Timkin two-speed differential. Henry Leland was still the president and general manager.
