1926 Chevrolet Tourer
This car was meticulously restored for over 32 years, and when we purchased it we had the honor of making the first long tour with it. Nice enough to have judged at car shows, strong enough to take on tour.
It runs beautifully!
The Chevrolet Superior Series V was only made in 1926, making this a rare vehicle. It was the first Chevrolet that didn’t have a larger companion model and was the only car sold by Chevrolet in several body style configurations all supplied by Fisher Body. Wheels are 30″ with hickory wood spokes. All Superior models were powered by a 171 cu in (2.8 L) four-cylinder engine with 26 hp at 2000 rpm, and shared the 103 in (2,616.2 mm) wheelbase. An extremely popular vehicle, there were 547,724 produced in 1926 and only a handful are left!
