This car was reconstructed 8 years ago and has approximately 500 miles.

When assembling the car I tried to adhere to the original design and construction techniques. The new body is made of solid ash and polar, steam bent as original. I stuck with the original single fuel system, it burns regular gas.

I deviated in 4 places from original :

1. Installed a custom [decent looking] boiler gauge.
2. Used modern sealed and lube bearings on all wheels.
3. Used modern roller bearings on the connecting rods
4. And, I installed??fully adjustable and equalized brakes.

These are invisible.

Boiler is by Kelso, the top and upholstery are by Loren Burch. Tires are Universal 3 1/2 x 36 clincher.

There a 6 chime whisle.
