Restored by my dad Gary Hoonsbeen. He spent over 6-years on the restoration, completing what you see in 2012

The car was discovered in a barn in Massachusetts in the 1960`s and eventually found its way to my dad`s possession.

He meticulously restored, refurbished, or replaced each component. The attached video shows the car displayed at the 2012 Minneapolis Auto Show. The car was never started for several reasons (including health), but he tested the systems and felt it was pretty much done

Several parts were removed as he tinkered with it, but I have them all.

Asking $90,000

1923 Briggs & Stratton Flyer

Click photo for MORE Photos

This is one of the most complete and correct Flyers I have found in 30 years. Metal parts are in excellent condition including original wheels. Wood was remanufactured at some time but is in very good condition.

Amazingly complete including:

  1. Original buckboard serial number plate
  2. Throttle control
  3. Set of usable hard rubber tires

Only thing missing is the compression release handle.

The motor is not running, but amazingly complete. Has a reproduction gas tank but otherwise appears to be period parts. Missing the exhaust pipe and the cables for the hand controls.

Offered at $10,000

This car shipped new from Detroit on October 31, 1913 and was sent to the Don Lee agency in Los Angeles, Ca.

It later surfaced in Reno, Nevada where it was wagered in a Poker Game in 1962. The individual who won the car in the poker match was not up to the task of getting the car in proper condition for operation and sold the car in 1972 at which time it was restored

Since the mid-1970's this car has been restored, maintained, and refreshed. It is a great looking, reliable tour car.

In 2016 it won a CLC Senior First and BoS

Now available for 105,000
