I just did a search at the HCFI Library and found quite a few dicuments you might find helpful: http://www.hcfi.org/search.php
I had a 1917 Case parts car I sold a few years back. Before the sale I contacted the Case tractor company and they sent me some interesting pages on the cars they had produced. Try the now merged company of CaseIH. Thanks JO BO
It has already been suggested, but I always like to take the opportunity to recommend the Horseless Carriage Foundation Inc. I have been a member for several years and like what they are doing. For $35 a year, you get a limited amount of research and copy service as well as access to their on-line search tools. I wish I could afford one of their higher levels of membership, but that has always been more than enough, and well worth it.
And at the same time you support an active effort to compile, preserve, and make available research materials for all early automobiles and to a wide audience.
