Hi everyone,
My name is Alejandro Demarie and I live in Argentina (the very south of America).
My father-in-law is quite a character and he is an American brass-era's cars fan (can't blame him).
As a hobby he make real-sized replicas of this cars (he already finished a Mercer 1912, a Simplex 1913 and a Cutting A40 of 1910) and now we are gathering information on 1909 or 1910 Chadwick Six (must be very similar to the one Len Zengle drove in 1909' Hills Climb at Algonquin / photos at: http://purplesagetradingpost.com/sumner/lenzengle.html )
Accordingly with the Index of the Horseless Carriage Gazette Magazine, some pics has been published in there (see page 18 of http://hcca.org/images/gazetteIndex.pdf ).
Can enyone provide me with some photos / draws of this car? If not, could you refer me to someone who could do so?
Many thanks in advance.
Alejandro Demarie
Alejandro,
18 years ago........long time. If you are still reading forum questions, would you have any idea when and where your father-in-law built his 1912 Mercer replica? Would yoou have any idea where it resides now? I have a growing collection of photos, details, drawings etc. of Mercer race abouts and am always scouring for new information. Many folks building replicas have a wealth of information to share.
Thank you, Mike Hopkins
