I’m selling my 1911 Maxwell Q-11.  To my knowledge, and based on the Maxwell registry, this is the only Q-11 in the Continental US.  The original driveline is correct and was rebuilt in 1954 and then the car was parked and not used.  I got it running again about five years ago and it ran great for the few miles I’ve put on it.  You can read a four-page article on the car in the Nov/Dec 2022 issue of the Gazette that talks about everything I did to it.  I also wrote an article on the “Q-series” in the May/June 2025 issue that gives a history of the series. The car was originally blue from Maxwell but was painted in 1954.  Some of the wood was replaced also at that time.  Left front fender was replaced then too. Upholstery has original leather on the seat back.  Cushions were recovered probably 75 years ago.  It will need new tires before you can tour with it.  I don’t want to sell it, but I can no longer tour due to my health so this will never get any use.  This is a great little roadster that is very rare.
