1912 Overland Model 59
1912 Overland Model 59. This was a touring car originally. During the WWII era someone replaced that body with a home built truck cab and box. There is a lever in the cab that will dump the box and open the tailgate. The car was treated as a collectors item from the late 40’s on and was displayed at a threshing show in SE MN and in parades etc through the 70’s maybe 80’s. The driveline is complete, the engine turns over. I believe it would run. I’ve not tried it though. It needs some tlc, oil the valve springs etc. The front tires hold air the back tires do not. The car is unique as it is but its also a good candidate for a speedster or depot hack body. Its a good entry level brass era car for someone. I can be reached by email or phone/ text.
