1927 Buick Master Six
This rust-free, completely operational all original 1927 Buick Master Six 2 Door Coupe-Sedan is a wonderfully driving car, and very dependable. This past Summer I drove this car probably three times a week. Built in late 1926 [and titled as such] this car is a 1927 with a replacement 1928 Master Six engine. The engine has been gone through, and has had the head gasket as well as the exhaust manifold gasket replaced with new. The carburetor, starter motor, generator, fuel and water pumps, and distributor have all been rebuilt. The radiator core has been replaced as well. The gas gauge located on the tank itself still works great is very accurate. You will not find any rust on this car, body or chassis. The only thing I could find that has been replaced was a beautiful new top and headliner. The deep turquoise body color with black fenders was by far the most popular color sold in 1927 by Buick. The windshield has window crank inside the car that allows the windshield to be raised for added airflow. Both seats in the front fold all the way forward for easy access to the rear. All the lights work, including the taillight and the cowl lights. The horn works great as well and is loud. Wooden steering wheel is in perfect condition. The car does get up and go. I have taken out on the highway on a few occasions and was very satisfied with its performance, considering it age. Brakes were redone by the previous owner and work as they should. The interior is factory original mohair and the carpet in the rear is original too. Wooden floorboards are beautiful. In all the times I’ve driven this car, no matter how hot it was outside [90 degrees +] it never came close to overheating. Price is firm at $9000. Clear Wisconsin Title in my name.
