Important Security Notice: Phishing and Spam Email Alert

Dear HCCA Members,

It has come to our attention that some of our members have recently received a fraudulent email pretending to be from the HCCA. The email asks for a “formal acknowledgment of receipt” regarding a PDF document. Please note that this email is spam and did not originate from the HCCA.

Unfortunately, spam and phishing attempts are a reality of the digital world, and there is no way for us to entirely prevent bad actors from sending these types of messages.
We ask that you please remain diligent when reading your emails. To protect yourself, keep the following in mind:

Do not take all emails at face value. Always verify the actual sender’s email address, not just the display name.
Be cautious with links and attachments. Do not reply to, click links within, or download attachments from suspicious emails.
Never send money or personal data without being 100% sure of the recipient’s identity. The HCCA will never ask you for unexpected payments or sensitive credentials via an unverified email.

If you ever receive an email claiming to be from us that feels out of place, please feel free to reach out to us directly through our official channels to verify it.

Thank you for your time, your vigilance, and your continued support of the HCCA.

Best regards,

Garie Zordich
Office Manager
