July 16-21, 2026
Two car show days at the Gilmore Car Show in Hickory Corners, Michigan. This year the featured marque were Brass Era autos 45 hp and greater. We also had a very special display of the Ford alphabet cars. The Early Ford Registry organized the collection of 1904-1909 autos. Another highlight was Saturday’s Museum of the Horseless Carriage groundbreaking. The museum building is on track to be finished in time for next year’s event.
Sunday morning started the three-day tour of Western Michigan. Highlights of the tour included boat rides on Gun Lake in vintage era motor boats. We also crashed a Monday car cruise-in at Dean’s Ice Cream in Plainwell, Michigan. During to the evenings, we enjoyed listening to presentations by guest speakers. One of which was a talk given by future MHC Curator Jay Follis about the 1912 Titanic disaster.
Plan on joining us for next year’s Celebration of Brass Car Show and Tour!
