- Hershey Deadline – An important reminder from the AACA that registration for Hershey events closes AUGUST 15! AACA needs you to participate. Help us keep Hershey strong! This year Hershey is the week of October 5 – 9, 2026. Don’t put it off! REGISTER NOW!
- Hershey Tent Help Needed! – Ever wonder who sets up that Great Big Wonderful HCCA Tent at Hershey every year? Hint: (YOU AND ME!) Vince Altieri and his HCCA volunteer crew need help. Please contact Vince at: Cars47@comcast.net
- HCCA Membership News – The HCCA Board added a fourth class of membership. We have created the Honored Senior Member category, for those long time (25 continuous years) members, who have achieved the age of 80 (we won’t tell). For them, ownership of a pre-1916 Brass Car is not required to still be eligible to Vote.
- Certificates of Insurance (COI) – Revised for Regions and Chapter events. We have added the COI request form to the Members Homepage on the HCCA Website. We will now charge $25 per certificate request.
- Directors & Officers Insurance – Will be offered to Regions and Chapters, and starting in 2027, the cost will increase to $35 per year. The deadline for subscribing will be December 31, 2026. A reminder email will go out to Regions and Chapters in October. This is a bargain, Act Now!
- Website Content Needed! – Do you have photos from recent events, event updates, or other content you’d like to have featured on the HCCA Website? Please submit your photos, write-ups, and Web content directly to the HCCA Communications Chair Danny Case. daniel.case@ngc.com
- SCAM Classified Ads – Every Car Club is experiencing SCAM ads on their site. To implement a strategy, the HCCA now requires everyone placing an ad to identify themselves. We do this the old fashioned way, through their Credit Card. To place an ad, we require $5. To place a picture ad, we require $25. Now we know who they are! Someday, we hope to reinstitute free ads, but in the meantime, SCAMMERS will be identified, and we will pursue them!
